Brea is my favorite rainbow variety to offer to beginners. I have found it as easy (if not easier!) to root than the standard yellow/whites, and when the roots get going they are by far the most aggressive root system I have witnessed in 10 years of collecting. One gallon cuttings rooted in spring usually require watering 2x a day by the middle of summer due to root growth and vigor. The growth habit is very upright, tall, and it likes to branch. The scent is light.
